Maximising Haven Dredging’s corporate social media presence with industry stakeholders

The Challenge

Ahead of its launch in April 2023, Haven Dredging brought ADPR onboard to develop the launch plan for its new company hydrodynamic dredging solution, Tiamat. Part of the launch was to include the creation and management of its social media presence, seeking to create connections and drive conversation with key industry stakeholders across the competitive global dredging market. With a diverse range of legislation and regulations across different regions around the world, there was a need to build trust and grow a new network of contacts in the sector. Haven Dredging demanded a targeted, engaging strategy that would resonate with international decision-makers and stakeholders. The goal was to position Haven Dredging and Tiamat as a viable and adaptable solution for industry leaders, while observing the complexities of a highly regulated market.

The Solution

Following an audit of the sector, ADPR developed a comprehensive social media strategy, focusing on setting up the social accounts and planning monthly content calendars for LinkedIn as the primary channel, supported by Facebook. The strategy involved developing both the written content and supporting assets,  to create stand out and interest across a global audience of business leaders. Each post was designed to highlight the company’s role in the dredging sector, balancing thought leadership commentary and insights, with commercial messaging.

To ensure diverse and engaging content consistently, ADPR curated a mix of key industry insights, sector-relevant news, and research and development updates, while incorporating strategic sales messaging and calls to actions. Our tailored approach allowed Haven Dredging to showcase Tiamat, build credibility, and strengthen relationships with industry bodies and potential partners and customers around the world.

The Results

By consistently delivering valuable and varied content, Haven Dredging’s social presence has grown significantly to over 750 followers. LinkedIn has delivered in excess of 137,000 impressions to industry professionals previously unknown to the company prior to establishing the social channels. The growth in visibility on social media has reinforced Haven Dredging’s position as a leader in the global dredging market, creating opportunities with leading industry publications around the world, including America’s Engineers magazine, Insider Media, Dredging Today and Insight Energy, as well as the Central Dredging Association (CEDA) and United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).

Haven Dredging consistently has an established campaign of activity with a broad mix of insights and news, designed to engage industry professionals from all around the world.
