As a brand trusted by professionals for nearly 150 years, technical outdoor brand Helly Hansen has delivered performance-driven, innovative gear to help people stay and feel alive. Protection from the elements is just as vital when attempting a technical mountain summit as it is during a day hike close to home. That is why for Spring/Summer ’25, Helly Hansen is upgrading their Loke Jacket (£120), the quintessential, highly versatile outdoor jacket that is packable, lightweight, and now includes searchability through RECCO®.
Since its first launch in 2014, the Loke Jacket has become one of Helly Hansen’s outdoor category best-sellers, finding a balance between cost and features without compromising on performance. The updated Loke Jacket for men and women keeps all that was loved from the original and adds modernised details. Higher performance is achieved using 100% recycled 40-denier ripstop fabric with HELLY TECH® Performance in a 2.5L construction. Overall fit has also been improved for comfort and protecting the membrane in a newly customised and unique Helly Hansen backer print.
To further product longevity, the design team took inspiration from Helly Hansen’s sailing line to include a front zipper that is easier to remove and replace, without impacting its waterproofing. For added safety and searchability, a RECCO® reflector is sewn into the hood – a first within this price point category.
“An update to our iconic Loke has been a long time coming,” said Philip Tavell, Vice President of Outdoor at Helly Hansen. “This is the core outdoor jacket and with more people venturing outdoors than ever, we were determined to incorporate RECCO®. Knowing that searchability features in apparel aren’t widely available at this level of gear makes the Loke incredibly unique and even more versatile than before.”
Deceptively simplistic and feature-rich, the Loke Jacket is part of the Helly Hansen Verglas collection, providing gear for any hike. To complete the kit, the Loke Pant will also be upgraded to include the new fabric and backer print. Both jacket and pant will be available to purchase online and in-store starting Spring 2025.
