Major European patent and trade mark attorney firm, Haseltine Lake, announces another new appointment to its Bristol office – Matthew Howell, a UK and European Patent Attorney and Patent Attorney Litigator, has joined the firm this month as a Partner.
The third new attorney in two months, Matthew joins Haseltine Lake specialising in the electronics, telecommunications and computing fields. With a Masters in Electronic Engineering with French, he qualified as a European Patent Attorney in 2008 and as a Patent Attorney Litigator in 2014. His experience spans a variety of major international companies, SMEs and universities, as well as assisting start-ups in developing effective IP strategies.
Matthew has expertise in drafting and prosecuting applications for electronics and telecommunications technologies such as amplifiers, signal location and identification, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. His experience also encompasses topics such as user interfaces, video processing, operating systems and memory systems.
