We couldn’t be more thrilled after picking up not one, but two awards at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations CIPR PRide Awards.
Winning Gold for Best Consumer Relations Campaign and Silver for Best Arts, Culture or Sport Campaign for our ‘On the Horizon’ project with Helly Hansen, we’re beyond excited that our creativity, drive and commitment to our client’s campaigns has been rewarded with these prestigious awards.
The judges described our campaign as ‘innovative’ and ‘a standout campaign this year’ as we took four lifestyle bloggers from the UK and Ireland on a year-long training adventure to showcase how accessible sailing is to a wider non-sailing audience. During the year the bloggers gained their RYA/ ISA qualifications to teach them to sail and the campaign concluded with them competing at Cowes Week where they came third in their class!
The campaign led to significant earned and social media results, as well as sales of sailing gear for Helly Hansen. You can read a full case study of the campaign here.
The CIPR PRide Awards recognise the outstanding work that public relations professionals have delivered for clients across the UK and we picked up our awards at a glittering awards ceremony at the Mercure Bristol Grand Hotel on Friday evening (17th November) for the South of England and Channel Islands. As you can see from the photos, it was a night enjoyed by all!
Nationally, the awards this year attracted more than 950 entries, with more than 300 public relations teams, consultancies and individuals being shortlisted across nine UK regions.
The awards now take centre stage in our office and we can’t help but smile each time we walk by!
