The first step was to conduct some research to understand the reality of the current situation. We invested in an employee engagement platform to gather real world feedback via an anonymous staff survey, that would be used to create an impactful communication strategy. The survey is repeated on a quarterly basis giving all employees the opportunity to share feedback, and to ensure that the results are measured and used for continuous improvement within the company.
The survey results informed the management team about the refinements required to improve engagement levels within the organisation. As a result a number of tactics have been implemented to include:
By taking the time to really listen to its employees, ADPR has made a number of refinements that have had a significant impact on employee engagement levels. By taking a consistent, data informed approach with its internal communications strategy, ADPR has seen a huge shift with its overall business growth. Having highly engaged employees has led to increased productivity, high staff retention levels, improved customer service, better internal skill sets and significant business growth, which is helping the company to achieve its commercial objectives.
ADPR employees now know that they have a voice and are valued. They work exceptionally well together as one team working towards a shared set of values and goals.
