Recognition of an incredible year for Fairline Yachts

Fairline Yachts toasts an incredible year with exciting new boats launched and numerous award nominations for its newly arrived F//Line 33 and Squadron 68.

Earlier this week, the 2020 Motor Boat of the Year Awards announced Fairline’s sporty day cruiser, the F//Line 33, as a finalist in the “Superboats” category, along with the luxurious Squadron 68 shortlisted in the “Flybridges over 60ft” category. Organised by the leading UK magazine, Motorboat & Yachting, the winners will be announced at a lavish awards ceremony during Boot Düsseldorf in January.

Also being announced at Boot Düsseldorf is the European Powerboat of the Year 2020 – which sees another nomination for Fairline’s “sleek and stylish” F//Line 33, this time in the 25-35ft category, where the jury’s attention is particularly focused on family friendliness, the overall interior design and layouts offered.

These nominations follow hot on the heels of Fairline’s World Yacht Trophie win in September, where the Squadron 68 beat impressive competition from yacht manufacturers across the globe to secure the highly coveted title of Best Interior Design in the 64-80ft (18.5-24m) category. Known as the Oscars of the international luxury boating scene, the World Yacht Trophies honour the finest yachts and yacht builders of the last 12 months. This is the third consecutive year Fairline has been crowned a winner, previously for its Targa 65 GTO and Targa 45 Open.

Commenting on the yard’s success this year, Dennis de Roos, Commercial Director of Fairline Yachts, says, “We’ve had an extraordinary year with the sporty F//Line 33 taking the market by storm. These award nominations are evidence our products are really hitting the mark. Alongside this, the Squadron 68, featuring the award-winning Italian design of Alberto Mancini and world-renowned engineering from Vripack, takes our range of large flybridge motoryachts to the next level. We look forward to celebrating even more success in 2020.”
